I love Seattle weather.  The forecast today was for rain - all day.  Boy, was that ever wrong.  Brian and I spent the afternoon cruising through the Northwest Folklife Festival, enjoying the music and the people-watching.

A little heavy metal/classical interlude....

I think sometimes, some people just need to stand on other people.  I guess I understand that.

Oh the humanity!

And the salsa dancing...why didn't my parents ever enroll me in dance classes?

There was a shockingly large amount of accordions.  Is that normal?

And then we finished the day with a nice cold beer.  Yum.

  1. Seattle sounds like such a fun place to live. I love the people standing on people. Surely they are a performing group?

  2. I would assume as much, but there weren't any signs with official names. Of course, there were very few groups with official names posted. It was mainly a free-for-all for all the musicians and performers. If you wanted to perform, find an empty spot and get to it.

  3. From your blog,it would appear that you had a wonderful time on Memorial Day. It appears that there is s much to do in Seattle. (I couldn't imagine what the man with raised arms was doing but I guess he knew.)
