Little Baby A is turning six months this week.  We got to spend the morning eating muffins, drinking Starbucks and taking pictures of the little munchkin.  The light certainly wasn't cooperating, be we had fun, anyhow :)  This will be his mom's first glance at the photos, so indulge me - there may be a few...

I can definitely think of things more fun than shopping for wedding things alone.

Blech. Oh well.  Even so, I was able to find some things today that I've been hunting for quite a while, and I found them at killer deals.

That felt good.

And then I came home and watched Daijo do death-defying leaps off the patio table in the backyard.  The picture doesn't really do it justice, but that's because I took it with my blackberry looking down onto the scene from the window in our living room.  It's a bar-height table - difficult for him to get up onto, let alone jump off of, so of course, it's his new favorite place.

There are worse ways to spend a Saturday.

On the list to be thankful for today:

The new bookshelf arrived!  Yay!

So, I was able to reclaim my office - no more working on the couch!  Woo Hoo!  I still need to buy a couple of baskets so I can really store my crap on the shelves, but it's going to be awesome!  One of the best parts about getting it all put together was that the boys instantly came to join me and cuddle as I worked in my office - aren't they adorable?

And a close up of the very dirty and very adorable Venn, because even this filthy and with ridiculously too-long hair, he's still the cutest white (dirty white) dog EVER...

Have I mentioned that Daijo still suckles his toys?  I wonder if that will ever go away?

Ah yes, it was a good day.

I'm a little behind in shooting the weekly themes that I was hoping for.  Oh well, if this project has proved nothing, it's definitely proven that I can fall behind :)  The theme for the first week of February was sleep.  I don't know how well this picture came out, but I've never seen any person or animal embrace sleep with the same reckless abandon as Daijo.  It's absolutely delightful to watch.

Ignore the dirt, okay?  That's just kind of life these days :)

When we do these week-long meetings for work, as a reward for spending hour upon hour in the conference rooms, we are sometimes taken on a little adventure.  This week, our company rented out 22 sailboats and held a regatta on the bay.  Hooray for photo ops for Heather!

The last picture totally cracks me up.  All of those boats were full of my colleagues.  We totally took over the bay :)

I'm spending this week in San Diego for a team meeting.  It makes it a little difficult to find time to get the camera out to play.  I couldn't resist this sunset view from my hotel room though...
