The weather gods did not smile so brightly on us today, but I think even that may have been a blessing. The loop that we chose was short enough that we weren't pressured into covering a ton of miles. As the rain came down today, we just relaxed in the tent. It was a day spent playing games, chatting and napping. We didn't even leave the tent to cook.
When the rain let up in the evening, we went for a delightful stroll down the coast. On our way back, this fella was hanging out in our campsite.
For the first time in months, I truly feel rested and alive.
I like 1536, the framing and composition is very nice. Of course the long-hair deer is nice also. Composition is good also. You gave him room to run off the picture, nice.
