I may have left out a bit of the excitement from Brian's parents' party on Saturday. In the middle of all the birthday celebrations, their amazing friends surprised us with a little wedding shower. Holy Unexpected, Batman.
I was so incredibly humbled by their love and generosity. One of the wonderful gifts we received was a handcrafted box that was made around our invitation. I doubt that Jerome and Linda had any idea how hard I had worked on that invitation or how much that could have meant to me to have a way to remember it and display it and suddenly turn it into a keepsake. Wow.
I am so blessed.
