So many people are brave enough to embark on a "photo-a-day" project. I'm incredibly jealous of these folks and I've wracked my brain trying to figure out if I'm creative enough to tackle something so ambitious. I've realized something...I'm not. There's no way I can force myself to find something everyday worthy of taking a picture. But, I can focus on other things...namely, things for which I can be thankful. So, that’s my challenge. 365 days of being thankful...it's a goal, not a promise

I took a photography class today. It was interesting. I got to go up north and experience the tulip festival for the first time. Not all of them were in bloom yet, but it was really pretty. I don't necessarily enjoy taking pictures of landscape-y stuff like this, but if was fun - I feel like I learned a lot from the class, and I don't think the pictures turned out too badly...

Wow. Awesome pics. Did you use a tripod also? Did the instructor encourage you to use the tripod?
ReplyDeleteTo get the 4th pic did you move the zoom in and out while taking the pic?
My favorite--the painting lady and the close up of the wooden crates.
Great job.
I don't have a tripod that's capable of handling the new camera, so I was working without. There were definitely a few times that I wished I had one, though. The 4th one was taken with a lensbaby lens that the instructor brought along. It was a fun little toy to play with once I got the hang of it.
