I completely see why this isn't a place to venture to in the summer - it would be overwhelmed with people. It's just too beautiful. We definitely nailed the timing for this trip.
The hike out of the area was breathtaking. On top of having 6 bald eagles escort us halfway down the coast, we got to see some of the petroglyphs at wedding rocks.
We stopped for lunch at what felt like our own private beach.
Like I said...perfect.
