Looking for the Question

So many people are brave enough to embark on a "photo-a-day" project. I'm incredibly jealous of these folks and I've wracked my brain trying to figure out if I'm creative enough to tackle something so ambitious. I've realized something...I'm not. There's no way I can force myself to find something everyday worthy of taking a picture. But, I can focus on other things...namely, things for which I can be thankful. So, that’s my challenge. 365 days of being thankful...it's a goal, not a promise

So, I've been really tired with all the travel recently, and although I've been studying tons about how to use my camera, I haven't exactly taken a ton of pictures. Tonight, I went back into the pictures from Erin's wedding to see if there were any other pictures that I needed to post. I realized that I hadn't posted any from the reception.

That being said, these pictures totally need a caveat. I wasn't planning on taking pictures during the reception. I wasn't prepared for the awesomeness of the people that were dancing that night, either. Anyhow. Here are a few shots of the night, without a flash. Don't judge.

So, it started with the guys from Shane's family rocking a Blues Brothers dance-off...

And it turned into a Lady Gaga Explosion...

Obviously, not my best work, but totally fun :)

I'm so glad you didn't have a flash! The motion shown by the slow shutter speeds give the feel of being there.

Looks like you had a great time at Erin's wedding. I especially liked the "Blues Brothers". It looks like the guests were about as "liberated" as those that went to Heather's wedding!
