One of the perks of being a part of a team based in the west coast is the amazing destinations that we have for meetings. We unanimously decided this week that we were going to attempt to hold all of our meeting near National Parks if at all possible. The whole point of meeting this week in the middle of nowhere in California was so that we could spend some time in Yosemite. I didn't bring my camera along for the day. (There were a lot of reasons why, but I won't get into that here) I did snap a couple of shots on my faithful Blackberry, though. These two were taken on the Mist Trail up to Vernal Falls.
So many people are brave enough to embark on a "photo-a-day" project. I'm incredibly jealous of these folks and I've wracked my brain trying to figure out if I'm creative enough to tackle something so ambitious. I've realized something...I'm not. There's no way I can force myself to find something everyday worthy of taking a picture. But, I can focus on other things...namely, things for which I can be thankful. So, that’s my challenge. 365 days of being thankful...it's a goal, not a promise
Great pics, just imagine what they would have looked like with the 700. BUT the best camera is the one you have with you. What an awesome hike, I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty - we were surrounded by hundreds of other people also enjoying the view :)
